"We found Randy Shreve, Shreve Construction by word of mouth and asking a neighbor (home owner) if they were pleased with the company and the work. They said YES unconditionally and this was the 5th project Shreve Co had done for them. Enough for me. Randy came to review the scope of the project (a complete gutting and remodel of a 1939 bathroom). He provided a very fair estimate within a day and after signing his contract we hired him to do the job. His company started the job three weeks earlier than expected and completed the project on time and within budget. Shreve Co was very informative about the potential for uncovering unexpected structural, electrical and plumbing issues in an old house and the possible effect on the costs estimated for the project. They were right on target with costs and by knowing up front there could be issues, saved us a lot of anxiety and frustration about costs. Additionally, the company was here EVERY day from start of business to closing and didn't wander off to work on some other job. They were great listeners, receptive to requests and suggestions of the home owner and provided expert feed back and suggestions on optional ways to install items such as ceramic tile, tile layout patterns etc. new kinds of lighting fixtures, and water saving fixtures. They were also amazingly neat. They never left the site until all building debris had been removed, vacuumed or washed off. They began each day with a clean space which ultimately saved time and money. They were very conscience about keeping dirt and debris confined to the work space and out of other areas of the house. They were polite, hard working and very good at every component of the project from installing new framing, floor, walls, paint, fixtures, etc and even returned to the site several months after the job to hang a fixture that had been on back order from the manufacturer. Would recommend them without hesitation!!!"
